ReplyDeleteThanks for the schematic at the top which I am using with a few differences.
ReplyDelete25 Ohm surge resistor on 220 volt massively cut down the power and overheated. 0.47 ohm with the original microwave cap prevented switch on surge trip with 20 amp MCB.
A bleed resistor is needed to discharge the large caps.
I should mention that this was using the original 140 amp commercial welding transformer, not the microwave conversions.
